Julie Dricken, M.D.
Board Certified Critical Care & Trauma Surgeon
Dr. Dricken joined the Tucson Trauma Critical Care team in November 2025. She grew up in Wisconsin and has lived, studied, and trained across the United States. Dr. Dricken was deployed to the Middle East with the U.S. Army and continues to serve in the Army Reserves.
She earned her Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore and holds three board certifications. Dr. Dricken completed her General Surgery training at the University of California, Davis, in Sacramento, California. She successfully completed a 48-week program at Rutgers/Robert Wood Johnson/UMDNJ in New Brunswick, New Jersey, followed by advanced training at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, where she completed a 48-week fellowship in Robotic and Minimally Invasive Colorectal Surgery.
Most recently, Dr. Dricken completed fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She is currently pursuing her MBA and looks forward to her next professional endeavor.
